Reclaiming the Day

Post & Petal was born from a desire to reclaim our days. In a world that moves in pixels and nanoseconds, we find ourselves longing for those things that have weight, texture, and a story to tell.

Meet Catherine

I’m a maker of things - woodworker, quilter, and observer of the garden. I believe that a well-placed stitch, a perfectly joined corner, and a hand-stamped envelope are small acts of rebellion against the rush of modern life. This project is my way of sharing those quiet moments with you.

A Return to the Tactile

In a digital world, I find my sanctuary in the rhythm of the stitch and the placement of a bead. Post & Petal is born from the same measured pace - a reminder that beauty is often found in the small, repeated actions of the hand. I learned the value of a measured pace from my mother, who taught me to embroider when I was five. You can read more about that in the first edition of the Folio.

The Anatomy of a Folio

The Paper: Each 12-page Folio is printed on quality 80lb/120gsm cream text weight paper with an 85lb/230gsm cover. The folio is delivered in an A2 sized matching envelope.

The ink: We use a six-color photographic process to ensure the botanical studies feel as alive on the page as they do in the soil.

The Bits: Because life is tactile, every envelope includes a β€˜bit’ - a scrap of linen, a sliver of wood, or a length of thread - to ground the story in the physical world.

Whether you are solving a study in logic or sketching a Nigella bloom, my hope is that this folio gives you a reason to pause.
